Do you love computer science too?
I currently study Computing and IT (Computer Science pathway) at the Open University. For 17 years i worked in Supported Living with adults with learning disabilities where i achieved a pass in NVQ 3 Health and Social care and achieved a pass in the advanced apprenticeship, but my interest in neurology has taken me into computing.
What draws you to technology?
I have been at University since 2014. My past education has influenced the way i look at an application. For example, i always think how usable is something to someone with special needs such as Asperger's syndrome, dyslexia or visual impairments. In addition, i also look at technology through the eye's of a psychologist; thus, have an interest in how people interact with a device or application. What do you think of computing and how do you see it evolving? The think part of the sense think act model in robotics also appeals to the would-be psychologist in me.
I spend time volunteering because the community is important to me and i hope to make contacts. I like to spend time with family and friends and have written this blog since 2015 as well as running a YouTube channel called Dreamazium, which is also about computer science. How do you like to express your love for science?
